Viva Las Vegas
Client: Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Type: Events management
Viva Las Vegas was an event organised by CAAS and SIA in conjunction with SIA’s new service to Las Vegas and also to provide transit passengers at the airport with some entertainment while in transit at the airport. This is a daily event where passengers get to spin a ‘jackpot’-like wheel to win some fabulous prizes. The top prize being a return air ticket by SIA to Las Vegas. Cabaret performers are also organised to give the transit passengers added entertainment.
Our scope of work involves all on site event management, from proposing emcee, directing the presentation of the game, organising of working staff, scheduling and management of the game.
What’s Your Range?
Client: Rendition Design & Communications Pte Ltd Type: Events management
The First Ever Airport Gameshow, What’s Your Range, has been an enjoyable experience for almost every transit passenger since its debut in December 2001. Mind & Media worked jointly with Rendition to successfully manage the pioneer season of the gameshow at both terminals of Changi Airport Transit Areas for a 3-month period.
Our scope of work involves all on site event management, from proposing emcee, directing the presentation of the game, organising of working staff, scheduling, management of the players and even on site problem solving.
Chingay at Changi Airport
Client: Rendition Design & Communications Pte Ltd Type: Events management
Every year during the lunar New Year Period, Chingay parade were held on the streets parading a series of performances not only locally but also international groups. This is the first time a mini Chingay parade is brought to Changi Airport to give the transit passengers a special treat.
Working closely with the organisers and the group leaders from People’s Association, we helped to plan, schedule and coordinate the various performing groups at both terminals at the airport to give the audience a back-to-back performances.
Navy Exhibition at the Singapore History Museum
Client: 7G Studios Inc Type: Project Management
In conjunction with the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), an exhibition called "Navy Exhibition – The Transformation" were organised showcasing its best, from the past, through the present, to the future, at the Singapore History Museum. The exhibition comprises of various displays ranging from multi-media presentations with audio and visual effects, to physical simulations, and 3D shows.
Mind & Media was engaged to manage the entire project, coordinating and working closely with the Navy team from research, scripting, gathering of images, selecting of exhibits, designing of props and sets, conceptualising and designing of multimedia and overseeing the of the entire set-up to it’s completion.
Health Promotion Board I-Day
Client: Health Promotion Board Type: Event Management
The Innovation Forum in 2002 was organised to launch HPB’s effort to drive innovation and grow intellectual capital in HPB. The event involves a launch of an employee’s portal, Work Improvement Teams award presentation, talks by innovation leaders and some fringe activities.
Mind & Media were engaged to organise and plan the entire event, from proposing the event title I-Day, designing of logo, designing of stage backdrop, producing 2 video production and organising team building and innovative games.
I-day 2003 was also organised and planned by Mind & Media, where more interesting ideas related to innovation is proposed and executed.
Singapore Science Park 20th Anniversary Celebration
Client: Ascendas Land (S) Pte Ltd Type: Event Management
To commemorate Singapore Science Park’s 20th Anniversary and also the launch of a new look for Science Hub, a carnival-like event was planned at the Science Hub itself. There was a cake cutting ceremony, carnival-like games, mime artistes, jugglers and balloon sculptors to entertain plus lunch time dedication. 1000 pieces of food and discount vouchers were distributed to all tenants in celebration of the event, where they can be used at participating outlets at Science Park.
Mind & Media were engaged to organise and plan the entire event, from designing stage backdrop, banners, food and discount vouchers to organising games and entertainers for the day.
Initial Public Offering for Ascendas Real Estate Investment Fund (A-REIT)
Client: Ascendas Land (S) Pte Ltd Type: Event Management
A-REIT is a trust fund that gives investment opportunity in a diversified portfolio of 8 income-producing business park, light industrial and built-to-suit properties. A-REIT is sponsored by Ascendas Land (Singapore Pte Ltd) and Macquarie Goodman Industrial Management Pte Ltd.
To launch the trust fund, there are 2 events planned. One is at the Fullerton where the event is launched and briefings to analyst and media are given. We assisted in the design and building of the backdrop, provision of sound system, video projection system and a video coverage of the event. The other event is a mini-exhibition at Caltex House concourse area where information on AREIT are displayed. We have adopted a very clean look for the booth. We have designed a structure with building silhouette for the panel display, a 2m high 3D polyform cut-out of ‘8%’ to attract passerby’s attention on the yield & a plasma TV playing back a video on AREIT. On top of that, we have also provided 2 mime artistes to walk around the area with sandwich boards to attract more attention.
Singapore Learning Symposium
Client: Workplace Development Agency Type: Event Management
Singapore Learning Symposium was held at the Ballroom at Suntec, where prominent speakers and successful Singapore companies with exemplary HR practices were featured. Mind & Media was tasked to handle the registration and organise the event.
An online system for management purposes was set-up to track the number registered and also payment. Registration on site on the event day is also handled by us including printing of name tags, assigning meals, etc.
The other task includes, stage backdrop design and construction, provision of lighting and sound system and execution of the programme.
